Pigment Blue 15 affords reddish blue shade and it’s tinctorial strength is high. PB15 is stable to various organic solvents, also exhibits excellent fastness to acids and alkali. Widely use for printing inks, coatings and plastics.
1. Inks: mainly used for certain extent in oil based binder systems packing offset and metal deco printing inks;
2. Plastics: The fact disadvantage used for plastics is the heat resistance only 200℃, that’s made PB15 can only used for such low temperature process plastics, like Polyethylene, PVC, PUR foam materials, as well as in rubber.
3. Coatings: For water-based systems coatings, textile printing etc.
4. Others: used for office articles.
