Pigment Orange 36 affords reddish dull orange shade provides very good light and weather fastness, and it’s completely fast to overcoating used for industrial finishes. PO36 is used throughout printing inks industry and certain plastics.
1. Coatings: mainly used for automobile(OEM) finishes. And frequently used in combination with Quinacridone pigments (Pigment Red 122, Pigment Violet 19 etc) or Chrome pigments to produce industrial finishes.
2. Inks: used through out the printing ink industry for letterpress, offset, all types of packaging gravure, flexographic and metal deco printing inks. Very fast to light and other chemical solvents.
3. Plastics: it’s used for plasticized PVC and other low temperature process plastics, it’s practically resistant to bleeding and blooming. Also can be combination with Carbon black pigment to create a brown for furniture films.
