Pigment Red 146 affords bluish red shade, exhibit very good solvent resistance and light fastness, primarily used for printing inks, coatings, and paints.
1. Inks: mainly used for letterpress, offset, packaging gravure, flexo inks. And also used for a variety special applications, like print bank notes securities. The certain tendency to migrate precludes its used in print on plasticized PVC films.
2. Paints: used for emulsion, architectural and general industrial paints where durability in unimportant. Also used for combination with Molybdate Orange pigments to produce bright opaque shades of red.
3. Plastics: certain used for coloring rigid PVC.
4. Others: office articles, cleaning agents, paper mass, laundry markers, soaps etc.
