Pigment Red 4 affords yellowish red shade and exhibits less color strength. It’s full shades exhibits good light fastness, but darken somewhat upon exposure, and it exhibits inferior solvent fastness. Mainly used for offset printing inks, rubbers and some specialized applications.
1. Inks: used for both offset, gravure and flexo printing inks where no solvent fastness required.
2. Rubbers: used for rubber blends;
3. Others: used for cleaning agents, detergents, including shoe polish and floor polish, office articles, artists’ colors and decorative cosmetics.
